Brett Owens is an attorney in the Fisher Phillips Tampa office. Brett helps employers of all sizes from across a range of industries with all aspects of employment law.
Brett spends much of his time counseling employers in day to day employment decisions and educating employers about prevention and practical solutions to workplace problems. Brett has experience assisting employers with due diligence during mergers and acquisitions and also provides advice to employers during post-acquisition integration. Brett also works with gig economy companies to prepare independent contractor agreements and prepares nondisclosure, arbitration, non-competition, and severance agreements for employers.
